[Note: The following is an unedited version of the candidate’s own words]

I am a born and raised Canadian, second generation on mother’s side. I have worked in Orillia, and much of the GTA since late 80’s including Provincial Government Services (now ORC), Van Huyse Architect (a Vaughan developer), Famous Players Cinemas, Bombardier DeHavilland, and now with Urbacon of Toronto.
I am a senior level draftsman at my current job. I’ve had a passion for cars and driving my entire life, and graduated from Jim Russell Racing Driver’s School in Mont Tremblanet Quebec. I write traffic based comedy books, blog rants, and a manual (also with dark humour) for liesure.
My community involvement as a Ratepayer and Traffic Calming chairman for my community, has kept me active at improving where we live.
I have resided in Vaughan for ten years now, and been active as a volunteer  (ratepayer, traffic calming) for eight of those years, our neighbourhood is a busy one.

5 Top Priorities:

1. Improve our roadways for pedestrians, cyclists, and transit, not just vehicles, this could include educational materials. Much
of the problem lies in attitude and complacency of motorists forgetting proper skills and reverting to bad habits like multiple lane turns, turning from non-turning lanes, driving straight from turn lanes, blocking intersections, speeding, and late merging at reduced roadways or highway ramps. (ex: Rutherford by Vaughan Mills)
2. Keep higher density development at core areas of the city like Hwy 7 and Jane or Yonge where low density residential is not adjacent,
we don’t need giant needle towers behind townhouses
3. Greater park dedication for large residential developments to reduce densities and promote recreation (soccer fields and play structures (which is done currently))
4. Stand up for our communities against development that goes to the OMB when they disagree with council decisions.
5. Coordinate our transit system (including the subway extension) with neighbouring ones to reduce scheduling conflicts and overlaps.

Having read this candidates books, there seems to be a disconnect between this campaign of his and the ideas expressed in his books.
